A New Way to Connect Brands and Creators
Two seasoned professionals, Anthony Damianakis and Pete Fergusson, are launching a new venture called IPX. Based in Dubai, with offices in London and Sydney, IPX aims to streamline collaborations between brands and content creators.
A Global Marketplace for High-Quality Content
IPX functions as a marketplace where brands can connect with creators, producers, and broadcasters to produce premium content. The unique aspect of IPX is its goal to create content that both the brand and the creator can own—a first-of-its-kind approach on a global scale.
Industry Backing and Expertise
The company has garnered support from industry leaders like Toby Hack and Juliette Otterburn-Hall. Damianakis brings experience from Boomtown Pictures and The Saudi Agency Network, while Fergusson previously ran Nemorin Film & Video, which worked with major brands such as NBCUniversal and McDonald's.
Focus on the Middle East
Despite its global ambitions, IPX plans to concentrate heavily on the Middle East. The region offers strong production incentives and is emerging as a major hub for content and entertainment. The company is already engaged in undisclosed projects and has secured early partnerships with major agencies and IP owners.
A $100 Billion Industry in Need of Infrastructure
Damianakis highlights that the branded entertainment industry is worth $100 billion but lacks the necessary infrastructure. He believes IPX can revolutionize the sector by leveraging data and science rather than relying solely on personal connections. Fergusson emphasizes the Middle East's advantages, including production incentives, distribution networks, and growing brand investments.
