Follicular lymphoma (FL) is a significant health issue in Japan, the United States, and Western Europe. It stands as the second most frequent type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). Side effects were mostly mild. The most common issues were diarrhea and mouth sores. A small number of patients had to stop treatment due to these side effects. Importantly, no one died from these issues. This suggests that parsaclisib could be a safe and effective option for these patients.

The study highlights the potential of parsaclisib. It shows that it can provide lasting benefits with manageable risks. This is crucial for patients who have few other options. However, more research is needed to fully understand its long-term effects and to compare it with other treatments. It is also important to consider the cost and accessibility of this treatment.
