E-Line to Replace Old Route 6

Metro Transit is set to introduce the E-Line, a new bus route that will replace the old Route 6. This route will run from Southdale to the University of Minnesota, with an expected 3,000 daily riders.

Business Owners Have Mixed Feelings

The construction phase has been challenging for local businesses. Victoria Ford, owner of "Comma, A Bookshop" in Linden Hills, is relieved that the construction is over. She anticipates an increase in foot traffic with the new bus line.

Victoria Ford also sees the potential, noting that improved public transportation could encourage more people to visit local stores without needing a car.
