A British man, Vishwashkumar Ramesh, is the only person who made it out alive from the Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad, India.  He was on a flight headed to London.  The plane took off and then crashed shortly after.  The plane was a Boeing 787 Dreamliner.  It crashed into a building that was used as a place to stay for doctors.  The building was part of a medical college and hospital.

The plane had 221 people on board.  All of them died except for Vishwashkumar.  The plane was carrying 169 people from India and 52 from the United Kingdom.  Vishwashkumar was sitting in seat 11A.  He was able to unbuckle himself and push through an opening in the plane's body.  He then crawled out.  He was shocked that he survived.  He saw people dying around him, including flight attendants and passengers near him.  He thought he was going to die too.  But when he opened his eyes, he realized he was alive.  He still can't believe how he made it out of the wreckage.
