Barrel House Z, the cozy taproom in Weymouth that served craft beers and snacks for about a decade, has closed its doors.
The owner announced the decision on Facebook, explaining that the business could no longer keep up with changing market conditions.

The founder described closing as a painful loss, “like watching a loved one fade away.” He felt that the brewery had become part of his identity, and its end was as personal as losing close friends or family members.

Despite the sadness, he thanked the community and the craft‑beer world for their support. He plans to move on to new projects, carrying memories of Barrel House Z with him.
